Elder Scrolls Online Is at Its Higher Point Ever

Last Updated on May 13, 2021 by Editor Futurescope

With a major expansion coming up, the Elder Scrolls Online community is getting ready for an unforgettable summer. Blackwood’s development took longer than initially planned, but its release will be more than welcome. New missions, dungeons, equipment and NPCs will give ESO the boost it needs ahead of the game’s transition to ninth-gen gaming. ZeniMax is also expecting Blackwood to provide a boost to ESO’s plus subscription plans as things have not been looking very good on that front.

Elder Scrolls Online in 2021 is an MMORPG that has it all. It can offer players hundreds of hours of solo gaming as well as numerous missions for groups of up to 12 members. However, the gameplay is not as simple as that of other online games. You cannot have fun by simply clicking one button as if you were playing simple games like Butterfly Staxx at casino.com. ESO requires planning in advance, adjusting your skills before every mission and understanding your role when you join groups of players. If you do not prepare for these things in advance, then you will probably struggle at the later stages of the game, where things get a little bit harder.

If the rumours and the announcements are accurate, then Blackwood will be one of the best expansions ever released for Elder Scrolls Online.  Players are expecting to get a lot of contents resembling those of Oblivion, they expect an abundance of new solo and group missions, and they want to see all those user interface bugs fixed once and for all. Blackwood is a great opportunity for the developers to reactivate the ESO community and to get ZeniMax’s servers pumping with activity.

With Blackwood, ZeniMax will attempt to enhance the role-playing part of Elder Scrolls Online. Players will get to experience mechanics that worked well on previous single-player titles like Skyrim and Oblivion. It will also be a great opportunity for gamers to enhance their character skill lines. Fighting against Oblivion creatures means hundreds of points for the character’s Fighters Guild skill line. This line might not have 50 levels, but getting to level ten is pretty challenging.

Are Microsoft Users Getting Any Extras?

It is not a secret that the acquisition of the ZeniMax Group by Microsoft has left players wondering about the future of Elder Scrolls Online. The tech giants paid billions of dollars in order to take ownership of the gaming studios, and many PlayStation owners are worried that this will have a negative effect on their ESO gaming experience. Nevertheless, Microsoft has not shown any signs of favouring Windows-powered gaming in regards to ESO, so players have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, those using Microsoft powered devices may feel a little bit disappointed about not getting anything special from this deal, but that which was most important for everyone, was the smooth transition to a new stage of the partnership. Losing Sony players would not only lead to financial losses, but it would also have a negative effect on the overall user experience of Elder Scrolls Online. The same applies to other ZeniMax online games. BAU continuity is at the top of the priority list.
