What We Have Covered in This Article

It’s safe to say, the Assassin’s Creed franchise is probably the best ever gaming series, like of all time. Whether it’s about the storyline or gameplay, it’s always been top of the bunch since the very beginning. Thus, it becomes quite difficult for anyone to choose the best game of the series. However, in this blog, I have tried my best to offer some sort of opinion in this aspect.

So, don’t forget to read till the end!

Top 5 Assassin’s Creed Games Of All Time

Before we get started, here’s a disclaimer for you –

Each of the games I’m going to mention here can be found on The Pirate Bay. Besides, you’ll also be able to download them for free. So, get started with them right now!

5. Assassin’s Creed.

The OG Assassin’s Creed felt like something else when it launched in 2007. It was excellent in terms of graphics, had a decent storyline, and came in with a memorable character –

Altair.

However, the gameplay of the same hasn’t really aged well. I mean, at this point, it feels a bit too repetitive. And, the characterization of Altair could have done a little differently too.

But, all in all, it’s a solid and enjoyable entry to the series. Oh, and for a 2007 game, it had an awesome story completion time too (15 hours!).

4. Assassin’s Creed 3.

Assassin Creed 3, during its launch duration, was being considered as the greatest instalment of all time. And, safe to say, it disappointed the die-hard fans like me big time.

Why?

Well, the length of the game was decent as a whole. And, the narrative structure of the same was pretty unique as well. However, it failed to deliver in the pacing department.

The main character here, Connor, definitely has some personality to him. Nonetheless, he was quite slow to learn stuff and took almost 1/3rd of the game to become an assassin.

3. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Let’s be honest here.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla isn’t really a game of assassins at all. At best, it’s more of an RPG that comes with a few stealth-related techniques and all.

But, that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable.

For example, the visual design of the game is something else if I’m being honest. Apart from that, the game optimization and technical performance of it is exquisite too.

And, the open-world elements are far better in this one than the previous games. Therefore, I will give another point to Ubisoft for that. But, come on! It’s not an AC game, man!

2. Assassin’s Creed 2.

Now, this is what I’m talking about. Assassin’s Creed 2 is probably the best AC game Ubisoft ever made in my opinion. If the game was not old and tattery, I’d put it in the first place.

Why?

Well, for starters, the main character of the game, Ezio, is someone almost 90% of the overall fanbase adores. He’s such an excellent and well-written character from the core.

You’ll literally feel proud to play as him.

And, if that wasn’t enough, Ubisoft improved the UI as well as the free-running system of the game even more. So, it looked much livelier and more realistic than before.

Yeah, that’s all I’m going to say here. If you want to know more about the game and Ezio, it’s a must that you play the game till the end. You’ll LOVE it!

1. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag.

Unlike the former, this game is a little more focused on a quintessential pirate theme. But, it’s so good and fitting that you’ll forget that you’re playing a different type of game.

Apart from the usual, the game came with a brand new naval battling system. And, it looked great in my opinion. Also, before I forget, the graphics of the game still holds up today!

So, yeah, it’s that great!

Also, in this game, you play as Edward Kenway who previously was an antihero of the series. So, that’s quite an interesting take Ubisoft did with this game.

The Bottom Line

So, what do you think?

Which one looks like your favorite Assassin’s Creed game of all time?
